Me : All fine, Sir
VO : Which University?
Me : University of Texas, Arlington (Aaarlington)
VO : Why this University?
Me : Not the same conventional ans… Area of interest… Additive Manufacturing, which is so good in UTA… Dr. Asfaq Adnan is doing so good research in it with MARS lab… Last year under the guidance of Dr. Pranesh Aswath, SAE team of UTA got ranked 5th in the whole world, & top rated compare to any team of USA… So we can get pretty much idea about what the level of education is there… My colleague Mr. David studied from UTA and he suggested as well and told how good it is. (He was listening eagerly… I thought he made interest with my presentation… That boosted my confidence)
VO : ok ok… fair enough…

Me : Decided to take 3… Computer Aided Design, Finite Element Method and Fracture Mechanism in structure design… (Referred list last night for VISA only… Not sure)
VO : So… oooo…. Well good, decided…
Me : Yes, Sirrrr…
VO : Which other universities u hv applied??
Me : 7 sir.. Told all 7.
VO : Which one is ur first preference?
Me : Sir, if long Beach and South Florida gave admit than it would be tough choice, but now UTA is better for me...
VO : Which exams u hv taken?
Me : GRE, IELTS and some extra curriculum related
VO : When did u appeared for GRE?
Me : 12th March
VO : Why?
Me : It’s admission requirement, Sir…
VO : ok ok… Who is going to sponsor?
Me : My Family, Sir… (Little pause, so make it connected) We have total asset of more than xx crore and xx lacs…
VO : What’s father do?
Me : Actually sir, both mom & dad both are working… Dad is a deputy engineer in MGVCL for more than 23 years and mom is Life Insurance Agent…
VO : Whaaaaattttt agent?
Me : Sir, LIC… Life Insurance corporation of INDIA
VO : oh ohk… I would like take one as mine is expiring soon… (Little fun)
Me : Sure sir… (with smile)
Pause for around 45-55 sec…
Me : would u like to see any docs, sir?
VO remained silent
VO : Which medicine u'r taking right now..?
Me : Vics sir...
VO : U take care of it, too...
Congrats, Gentleman,,,, I’m granting ur visa….
He leaved his chair and didn’t even waited to hear thanks from me,,, But I told… Thank you very much sir…

reached consulate by 8:30 stood in line outside the consulate and completed all the security checks and entered inside the consulate by 9.30. stood in the line and watching all counters. I was standing in the line and watching counter no:35 which is near to me.He is very young guy and that counter is the worst counter.he is going on rejecting continuously. at first he approved for one girl and nd after 4-5 rejects he approved for one other ..and after that no approves all rejects continuously 11 rejects before MINE... I was standing in line and praying i shloud not get that counter but my fate when my turn came i was sent to that counter only counter 35. i thought i was gone i will b the 12th reject..I left all my hopes and stood in front of him( other fellows interview is going on ).after that i went to him.

Vo: good morning man.Give me your passport
Me: sure sir.I gave it.
Vo: Which university??
Me: TAMUC
VO: How many universities have u applied??
Me: 3 sir
Vo: what are they?
Me: told all three (while telling them vo interuupted and asked to tell the second one loudly) frown emoticon
Vo: Which course?
Me: Industrial technolgy.
Vo: so, y this university?
Me: told
Vo: what is the course curriculum?
Me: told (here i was bit tensed and included my first sem subjects in that)
Vo: what is the toughest subject in masters??
Me: told
VO; Y????
Me: i was much tensed with that question donno wat to answer but any how managed some two lines.
Vo: who r ur sponsors???
Me: my parents
Vo: what does ur father do??
Me: bussiness.
Vo: what type of bussiness??
Me: told
Vo: How many vehicles do u have??
Me: 3 ( told randomly.... but its a fake)
Vo: does your mother also do bussiness??
Me: yes
Vo: what business??
Me: told ( actually its a fake ) .
finally the GOLDEN WORDS came. I M APPROVING UR VISA. U'll get ur passport after few days.
Me: thank u thank u soo much sir.. and came running out of the consulate happily.. smile emoticon
But that Vo didnt even asked for my I-20 also he just took my passport only..

Vo: What is embedded systems?
Me: computing system with specific or general purpose but embedded inside objects for examples tv etc.
Vo: ur visa has been approved and will be delivered in 3 days.
