How to Create Separate Text Box Gadgets in Blogger
Step 1
Log into your Blogger account at blogger.com using your username and password. Click on the name of the blog you'd like to add the text box gadget to.
Step 2
Click the "Layout" link on the left side of the screen. The next screen displays the layout template for the current blog, including title, posts and gadgets. The layout is in some ways determined by the template you selected when the blog was created.
Step 3
Click on "Add a Gadget" to create an additional gadget in the layout template. There are several "Add a Gadget" links to choose from, available in each part of the template where gadgets can be used (typically above posts or in the right-hand column).
Step 4
Click the plus icon next to the "Text" gadget in the new window that appears. If the Text gadget isn't showing, select the "Basics" category from the list on the left, then scroll down.
Step 5
Configure the text box as required in the "Configure Text" dialog. It's possible to specify a title and content for the new gadget.
Step 6
Use the formatting options in the top right-hand corner to change the style and font of the text. Further changes can be made by clicking "Edit Html" and editing the code directly.
Step 7
Click "Save" to confirm your customization choices and add the text box gadget to your blog. Choose "Cancel" to return to the main Layout page without making changes.

Add more text boxes as required. Click and drag gadgets around the layout template using the light blue handles at the left edge of each gadget. Each text box gadget can be customized in specific ways.
